Alana Doyle (APD)
Alana is a new graduate dietitian, but not just any—she was handpicked to join The Gut Friendly Dietitian team after excelling in her student placement. Her knowledge, passion and natural ability to connect with patients stood out so much that bringing her on board was an easy decision. Now as the newest dietitian in the team, she is launching her career under our principal dietitian Geraldine’s mentorship—to specialise in IBS, food intolerance and gut health.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours) from the University of Wollongong, Alana has a strong foundation in evidence-based nutrition and a deep curiosity about the gut’s impact on overall health. Her passion for dietetics has been reinforced by personal experience; watching the profound impact of nutrition on her father’s recovery from a heart transplant and cancer strengthened her belief in the power of food as medicine.
Alana understands the overwhelming nature of gut issues and is committed to making nutrition simple, practical, and effective. She brings fresh, up-to-date knowledge and a genuine commitment to helping her clients feel better.

Our principal dietitian, Geraldine is an IBS and food intolerance expert with a passion for gut health and food intolerances that emerged from personal experience turned professional mission.
As a certified low FODMAP dietitian, Geraldine bridges the gap between complex medical nutrition and real-world challenges patients face. She provides the “what to do” alongside the crucial “how to do it”—with an individualised approach to overcome the biggest roadblock to results: actually sticking to your diet plan.
Geraldine is a busy mum of two, certified health coach, and a dedicated speaker. She’s worked with organisations like FODMAP Friendly and Free From Allergy, providing educational talks and sharing her expertise with the broader community.
