About the Founder

Welcome,  I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Geraldine, The Gut Friendly Dietitian.

As a qualified and Accredited Practising Dietitian, I’ve been transforming lives through optimised and sustained eating habits for over a decade. It was a strange twist of fate when a family member came down with IBS. After he fell ill during an overseas trip, we found ourselves in a frustrating cycle of medical tests and dead ends. Knowing there was a link between diet and symptoms, I experimented with the low FODMAP diet principles and he was symptom-free within a week. The most unexpected part: gaining a slight obsession in the process.

On a mission to help others, I threw myself down an IBS and food intolerances rabbit hole which included specialised training through Monash University. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to creating a hub for patients suffering from gut issues—with a team that provides expert, evidence-based care. Together, we assist patients daily to implement and sustain dietary changes that relieve symptoms, while continuing to keep up to date with the latest science in the gut health space.
